Allen Wong

Allen Kalehua WongAllen was born December 6, 1955 in
Puunene, Maui. He passed away after a courageous battle with ALS, dying as he
lived, surrounded by family and friends in his home on Fox Island, Washington
on March 7, 2009. Allen grew up in Makena, Hawaii. He attended Kahuku High
School where he was an accomplished athlete receiving multiple honors both as
an All-State Basketball and All-Conference Football player. His talents awarded
him a full scholarship to BYU. Allen was known as a loving, devoted, loyal,
hardworking man who played as hard as he worked; he enjoyed life to the
fullest. He was a generous man, sharing his time and talents with anyone in
need. He was employed by American Airlines as a Fleet Service Clerk for 25
years; his work ethics & winning ways earned him the respect and love of
all who knew him both at work and in life. He will be deeply missed by wife
Elisa; their daughter Cheyenne and son Allen "Kale" Wong; his first
wife Susana Wong and their children, Otis Wong, Cory Horton, Kazera Tilo,
Orlando, Annoria, and Onosai Wong; 12 grandchildren; brothers Henry and Wendell
Wong of Ulupalakau, Maui; sisters Lamalani Alo and brother Kimo Alo, both of
Maui and many Aunties and Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and too many friends
to count.
